DAY 4 PORTO SELVAGGIO AND LECCE TRIP
Despite the weather, Thursday was
fantastic. In pouring rain we went to Porto Selvaggio, where we had a chance to
stroll along the paths nearby the sea. This place, where Italian come to have a
rest by the seaside, is very crowded during summer months. A journey through the Province of Lecce took visitors from
prehistoric civilizations, through Medieval architecture and to the
masterpieces of the Baroque architecture of the city of Lecce, via ancient
traditions and the skills of master craftsmen. Our excursion ended in
Lecce, an old town. The very first thing we did there was having a hot cup of
tea or coffee. We were wet and cold but eager to see this
historical place.

A
farewell party was a huge surprise for everyone. There was a local band invited,
that made all feel relaxed after these exhausting days. Even the cold wind
couldn’t stop us from dancing and singing.
We are a mixture of all life flavors. Despite different cultures we awere
able to aim at the same goal. Being aware of the fact that each of us is unique and
has different needs, we were able to cooperate together. We had a chance to meet
other cultures, new people and customs. We had the great pleasure to explore
Italy..Unfortunately, the weather was not as good as we had wished for before
the trip.
DEAR Mario Thanks for a good
cooperation, hospitality and warm heart. It was a pleasure for us to be there.
